‘Love is in the air.’ This thoughtful quote animates itself when we see lovebirds like Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade together! They believe in standing out from the crowd, and hence, one long year after their wedding, they have shared ‘never-before seen’ pictures of their marriage. Talk about a private ceremony!
They tied the knot in Miami last year, August 30th, and now ‘Being Mary Jane’ star is sharing her stunning photos of their big day. Gabrielle got into Flashback Friday fun on August 22nd by posting elegant and awe-inspiring pictures. In one of her photos, captioned, “Racing to the altar,” Gabrielle holds her dress up while running in front of a stunning garden backdrop. In another, she stands perfectly still and looks into the camera, writing, “When you’re a bride but also a Superhero and you gotta save the day.”
Mr. and Mrs. Wade said “I do” in front of a small crowd of family and friends. Stars included teammates from Miami Heat and John Legend, who performed during their ceremony. The big event kicked off on August 29th with a rehearsal dinner in South Beach. Gabrielle shared an interesting picture when they both were leaving their party on Instagram, writing, “Let’s gooooooo! #thewadeunion.” The bride wore a custom ‘Dennis Basso gown’. Complementary, the groom sported a look by DSquared and a bow tie from ‘The Tie Bar Wedding’ Collection that he designed himself.
The love-soaked couple began dating in 2009 and got engaged in December 2013. Dwayne popped the question with the help of his two children from a previous marriage and his nephew he has helped raise. We congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Wade on their first anniversary, and what a great way to walk down memory lane!
The couple has made their wedding video into a rom-com trailer. Wade and Union trailer has everything a good romantic comedy needs: A good looking couple, a star-studded support cast, and even a lemur.
