Seasonally, as Summer cools down, we update our wardrobe to focus on cozy fur coats, boots, gloves, scarfs, and accessories. However, Fall 2015 has brought a new twist. One that encompasses designers filling the runway with offbeat and uber-stylish outfits and accessories, which provide an interesting fashion spin to our typical attire transformation. Let’s explore Fall fashion styles and trends this year, including season must-haves:
We cannot mention Fall without mentioning coats and outerwear, especially, when our season looks forward to formal and semi-formal cape alternatives. Cape style is displayed in almost every designer’s collection. Be it a casual denim tee to an evening gown, cape will certainly add oomph to your stylish variety.
An ultimate mix of different textures, shades and prints, patchwork style was another designer favorite. Fall collections ranged from color block casuals to formal gowns styled out of random shades and materials. Turn ordinary into extraordinary by making sure patchwork is in your wardrobe.
KEEPING IT PLAID
Plaid, commonly referred to as check look, is going to dominate this season. From sophisticated black and white plaids to attractive colored ones, this hatched print became popular in coats, separates, skirts and trousers.
Not usual scarves, but rather skinny ones caught our eye on the runway this season. An accessory for every outfit, they can be conveniently paired with sweaters, dresses, and office outfits.
GLITZ AND GLAM
Fall Collection 2015 brought a striking change to not just fashion, but also jewelry styles as well. This season, subtle and sophisticated jewelry was replaced by large earrings (I.e. Hoop earrings, lever backs, and etc.), big brooches and other sparkling jewelry.
Do you think these fashion styles and trends are trendsetters, or simply fads? Why? What type of jewelry comes to mind when you hear “celebrity style” or “large”?
