Today, we will talk about what’s new this year; what never has taken place ever before. Speaking along these same lines, three things have managed to be in limelight this year, and these are black color, golden color and ‘flatgate’ controversy. Let’s elaborate about them in detail:

Golden Color:

Glamorous gold color needs no embellishments or introductions to manifest its beauty. It is self-sufficient and has inspired our beloved celebrities to drape themselves in Gold. Below are ones that sprinkled golden magic in Cannes Film Festival 2015.

Kristina Bazan took away our breath with her liquid gold body-con gown.

The Flatgate Controversy:

This year’s Cannes Film Festival is labeled as ‘Year of La Femme’, but the event surely caught fire when reportedly, women were turned away from Red Carpet due to ‘High heels enforcement policy’. Rumors existed that many women were stopped from attending gala screenings. One was even sent back for wearing ankle boots and tights, and another was actually physically pushed away by security for wearing platform sandals.

Thierry Fremaux, Festival Director, denied existence of a high-heels enforcement policy. On the other hand, Emily Blunt said the news was “very disappointing.” We don’t officially know the truth, and who is telling a lie. No matter who you sided with, the event surely stumbled upon the ‘flatgate’ controversy.

What do you think about Cannes’s controversy? Do you believe Natalie was overlooked with her transparent dress? Do you concur it’s wise to force women to wear high heels, even if they are not comfortable? What would you do with millions of worldwide viewers watching?
